Warranty Terms and Conditions
Rayce-Way Auto Glass (“Rayce-Way”) provides a limited lifetime warranty on automotive glass installations, covering defects in workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle in which the glass was installed. Rayce-Way further warrants that all parts and materials used in the installation will be free from defects for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of installation. Any defects in parts or materials must be reported to Rayce-Way within this thirty (30) day period. If a condition arises that is covered under this warranty, the customer must contact Rayce-Way at (832) 818-1763. Upon verification of the claim, Rayce-Way will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product or correct any defective workmanship at no cost to the customer. Warranty service will be performed at a mutually agreed-upon time and location. To obtain service under this warranty, the customer must provide proof of installation by Rayce-Way, such as a copy of the original invoice or receipt.Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty is strictly limited to defects in workmanship and materials and expressly excludes all other causes of damage.
This warranty does not cover leaks, stress cracks, or related damage associated with installations on vehicles that have pre-existing damage or rust on the pinch weld. Rayce-Way will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify the customer of such damage prior to glass removal; however, such damage is not always detectable. In such cases, Rayce-Way shall not be responsible for any resulting or associated damage.
This warranty further does not cover damage to brittle, aged, or dry-rotted components, including but not limited to cowls, moldings, trim, or other cosmetic exterior parts located on, above, or surrounding the windshield. Such components may be inherently fragile due to age or environmental exposure and may become damaged during normal removal or installation processes. Rayce-Way shall not be responsible for the repair or replacement of such components.
In addition, damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty.
This warranty does not cover, including but not limited to:
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, vandalism, theft, or acts of God
- Damage caused by road hazards, including rock chips or debris after installation
- Pre-existing conditions not documented at the time of installation
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic imperfections
- Improper use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle
- Any work, recalibration, or modification performed by a third party
If the customer suspects a workmanship-related issue and seeks inspection, repair, or modification from any third-party service provider before notifying Rayce-Way, this warranty shall be deemed void in its entirety.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the original vehicle.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY TEXAS LAW, RAYCE-WAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF INCOME, OR DIMINUTION IN VALUE.
RAYCE-WAY’S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT PAID FOR THE INSTALLATION.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, RAYCE-WAY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
